SF ISACA Fall Conference 2018

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

The SF ISACA Fall Conference Leadership Committee is proud to announce the Call for Presentations for the SF ISACA Fall Conference being held October 15 – 17, 2018. The Call for Presentations will be open through August 7, 2018.

If your presentation is selected for inclusion in the conference, you will be informed by approximately August 30, 2018.  The specific date, time and track details for your session will be sent at a later date.  Those selected to present will receive a complimentary registration for the conference.

Guidelines for submission:

SF ISACA is looking for presentations covering a variety of topics of interest to our audience of IT Auditors, governance and security professionals along with external consultants, financial/operational auditors, and other IT professionals.

  • Presentations should be in-depth and focus on a specific issue or technology.  Our audience is aware of many of the challenges, so the bulk of the session should focus on solutions.
  • Hands-on demos and case studies with actionable outcomes are encouraged.  Participants want to take away skills and information that they can use.
  • Sessions are 90 minutes allowing for about 75 minutes of content and 15 minutes for Q&A.  Please plan the content of your presentations accordingly.

For a partial list of possible topics, click here; however, we welcome submissions on additional subjects.

The CPE credits we offer are dependent upon a high quality curriculum focused on educating attendees.  We recognize that part of your motivation to present may be to “market” your company or product to potential clients.  That is understandable; however, we ask that you keep your session as vendor-neutral as possible.  When referring directly to a product or service that you provide, make a clear and explicit the transition from “education mode” to “marketing mode”, and please keep those transitions to a minimum.  It is acceptable to provide business cards after your session, if approached.  Also, feel free to have collateral available after your session.  Be advised that the Sponsor’s reception on Monday evening and the Sponsor’s Luncheon on Tuesday are for our attendees to investigate specific solutions.
